KINBER is hiring a Marketing and Communications Coordinator
KINBER is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join its team.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is integral to the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of initiatives that align with KINBER’s mission. Working in close collaboration with the Marketing and Advancement Team, partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders, this position supports the development, operational success, and sustainability of KINBER initiatives. Your understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities, coupled with your deep commitment to KINBER’s core values: equity, integrity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration, will be essential in advancing our mission and enhancing the overall performance, efficiency, and success of our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Public Relations
Organize and maintain Media List, prepare first of draft press releases and news articles, identify potential topics for executive thought leadership pieces
Social Media & Email
Draft and schedule social media content for KINBER including additional ‘brands’ within network
Drive engagement on social media as KINBER
Track monthly analytics across platforms and identify trends
Draft monthly KINBER newsletter and manage and grow newsletter mailing list
Program Communications
Create marketing collateral for KINBER and KINBER programs, including flyers, postcards, mailers, etc.
Manage the production of any physical print or other marketing materials (t-shirts, stickers, swag, posters, etc.)
Branding and Brand Awareness
Maintain KINBER website with relevant content and periodic updates
Ensure all communication is properly branded as KINBER, including using KINBER’s voice and approved terms
Advancement
Assist Director of Advancement in maintaining contact lists and in the physical production and execution of fundraising outreach
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
At least two years of experience in marketing, communications, PR or fundraising
Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
Must have a high level of creativity
Occasional travel may be required
Proficiency with technology including Canva and Microsoft365 office suite (Outlook), required; experience with Squarespace and WordPress a plus. Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
Salary Range: $52,000 - $60,000 annually
Full-time, exempt position.
Regular work hours, Monday through Friday.
Remote or Hybrid work environment.
Occasional travel and/or overnight travel, as directed.
