January Newsletter

The start of a new year brings a sense of possibility and a chance to think differently about what lies ahead. With every calendar reset comes new opportunities to strengthen how our communities connect, learn, and grow.

This year, we look forward to exploring fresh ideas and collaborations that expand digital access and create pathways to opportunity. Each step forward helps more residents build skills, reach resources, and participate fully in the world around them.

We invite you to stay engaged as 2026 unfolds. Here’s to a bright beginning and a year open to new potential.

Warm regards,

KINBER Launches Lancaster County Digital Access and Support Hubs

Our Lancaster County community is taking an important step toward expanding digital access and opportunity. The Factory Ministries has joined with KINBER to introduce the new Digital Access and Support Hubs Initiative in our area. This program will provide residents with practical tools, local support, and digital skills training designed to help people connect, learn, and thrive.

The initiative equips community partners with laptops, reliable internet access, and proven training resources so they can better serve their neighborhoods. These efforts build individual confidence and skills while also strengthening the community, local economy, and network of support services.

Together, we’re creating a more connected and resilient Lancaster County—one partnership at a time.

NextGen Navigators

A powerful next chapter begins! Our Ephrata NextGen Navigator students received their devices this week, unlocking the tools they need to take their skills beyond the classroom and into the community. With this milestone, they are officially launching their work to provide digital skills assistance, and we’re thrilled to watch the impact they’ll create through their leadership and service.

We are excited for our affiliates at STEM-UP Network as they begin a new collaboration together with the Pennsylvania Academy of Science (PAS). We are proud to see two strong Pennsylvania organizations join forces to better serve college and university students, recent graduates, young professionals, and faculty in STEM disciplines.

This partnership creates fresh opportunities for women across the state to connect with mentorship, professional development, and supportive networks. By aligning STEM-UP Network’s focus on retention and advancement with PAS’s longstanding mission to promote scientific research and professional development, they are strengthening pathways for the next generation of women in STEM.

We look forward to supporting their shared efforts and watching this collaboration grow in the year ahead.
